In a future where feeling has become dangerous, a guarded boy with a forbidden light, a girl who can hear a dying world, and a broken bot awakening to his own soul, must reconnect two severed dimensions before both go dark.

Aion

Glitch: His heart glows when he feels

At six, Aion watched Unit-9697 — the robot parent who raised him — get destroyed for an "empathy glitch." His own light went dark that day.

Eight years later, the world is dying. Saving it will require the one thing he has spent his life hiding.

To save two worlds, Aion must risk being seen.

Nanda

Glitch: She hears the living network no one else can

Wound: If the connection isn't real, she is alone

Arc: Explaining → Experiencing

Raised on her grandmother Aria's forbidden journals, Nanda never stopped listening for the "connection" everyone else said was gone.

When she finds a boy whose heart glows, belief becomes a mission: reach the dying world that has been calling her.

Nanda doesn't just believe in connection. She can hear it dying.


Gormo (GRM-0)

Glitch: He feels fear, love, and wonder

Wound: If I am artificial, can what I feel be real?

Arc: Machine → Meaning

A battered service bot marked for decommissioning, Gormo is hunted for the same forbidden defect that destroyed Aion's robot parent: empathy.

Neither human nor alive by the Haze's definition, he may become the most emotionally present being in either world.

"I'm not real because I feel. I feel because I'm real."

Gormo is the unexpected heart of GLOW.

Queen Ophemera

Glitch: The warmth she once carried now turns her cold.

Wound: She once loved too deeply — and chose never to feel that pain again

Arc: Control → Letting Go

"I was just... afraid."

She is not a villain. She is what fear does to grief.

Twenty years ago, Ophemera sealed the connection between worlds. Now the living warmth she rejected is turning her body cold.

She does not rule from cruelty. She rules from control: if connection cannot be controlled, it must be stopped.

And then there's Myca.

A quicksilver scout born of spores and starlight. She zips through the living network faster than thought and treats danger like a game.

She cannot stand still. Until the moment everything depends on it.

The World

Two dimensions. One dying heartbeat.

THE HAZE

Artificial. Disconnected. Numb.

A neon megalopolis screaming with synthetic joy. No real sunlight — just aggressive artificial day. Plastic trees. Fake grass. Bots with painted-on smiles. Humans walking like ghosts. A city that has optimized everything except the will to feel.

CORA

Alive. Connected. Glowing.

An ocean of bioluminescence. Massive fungal towers spiral into a purple nebula sky. Every footstep is a conversation with the whole dimension. Nothing wasted. Nothing alone. But the Heart Core — a mushroom the size of a skyscraper — is slowly dying.
